The 2009 season marks his fifth year racing in the Speed World Challenge GT Championship. Mike and his son, Brandon, are teaming up in Mustang Cobras against a field of Cadillacs, Corvettes, Porsches, Vipers and Volvos for the second year.
Mike Davis’ professional racing began with his 1999 entry into the Trans-Am Series driving a Roush built Ford Mustang. Until the series close in 2005, Mike accumulated over 50 starts and 17 top ten finishes. In 2002, Mike Davis was titled Trans-Am Series Championship Team Owner along with his Champion Driver, Boris Said.
Mike Davis lives in Sunset Beach, California with his wife, Sandy. Together Mike and Sandy co-founded Applied Computer Solutions of Huntington Beach, California. Mike and Sandy are parents to two sons, Brandon and Sean. Mike is a private pilot. He volunteers with Angel’s Flight, an organization dedicated to providing private flights for patients with healthcare and other compelling human needs.
